“Imaging Focal Hyperexcitability in the Epileptic Brain”

The Anne Klibanski Visiting Lecture Series was created to support and advance the careers of women. These lectures bring together faculty from institutions that have hosted Anne Klibanski Scholars with MGH scholars, on topics that overlap both research areas.

This lecture was given by Alice Lam, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Neurology, MGH/HMS and Eliane Kobayashi, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Neurology, Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University.

Dr. Lam’s lecture was on “Linking Tau Pathology and Hyperexcitability in Epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease.”
Dr. Kobayashi’s lecture was on “In vivo neuroimaging of metabotropic glutamate receptor type 5 in focal epilepsy.”
