“A Conversation with Anne Klibanski, MD”

The Marcela del Carmen, MD, Lecture Series for the Advancement of Women and Diverse Faculty was established to honor Dr. del Carmen’s dedication to leadership development. Dr. del Carmen is the interim Chief Executive Officer of the MGPO and has dedicated her career to supporting women in academic medicine as well as faculty with diverse backgrounds.

Inaugural Speaker: Anne Klibanski, MD is the President and CEO of MassGeneral Brigham and former Director of the Center for Faculty Development. She has been a strong supporter for women physicians and scientists at MGH. She established the MGH Backup Childcare Center and the Claflin Distinguished Scholar Awards, which support the careers of female scientists. Before Dr. Klibanski became the CEO, she was the Chief Academic Officer at MGB, the head of the neuroendocrine unit and an extremely accomplished NIH-funded investigator.
