Health of your Wealth: Financial check-up for retirement preparation

The Center for Faculty Development is excited to announce the creation of the Office for Senior Faculty Transitions. This was the first presentation related to this new office: “Health of your Wealth, Becoming Financially Bulletproof”

Nora Yousif, Financial Advisor and First Vice President of the Empower Wealth Group at RBC Wealth Management, provided a financial roadmap for those in their 50’s and 60’s to help ensure that participants are on track for a successful retirement transition. She discussed key insights to help protect a family’s financial well-being, reviewed how to help ensure all are on track to retire at their targeted age, discussed advanced strategies to help maximize future social security monthly benefit, reviewed what all need to know as it pertains to Medicare, and pointed out how to avoid investing pitfalls in light of rising interest rates and a recovering economy.

Facilitator: Nora Yousif, CDFA, CFP, CPFA, is a Partner with the Empower Wealth Group of RBC Wealth Management. Nora is a 3rd generation Financial Advisor and First Vice President of the Empower Wealth Group of RBC Wealth Management. She was honored as a top “40 Under 40 Professional” by Boston Business Journal as well as by her industry for going above and beyond to serve her clients. She has presented on personal finance and investments for over 300 organizations. Nora frequently contributes to Radio and TV shows like Channel 5, NBC Boston and Yahoo! Finance. Nora has been published in CNBC articles and Forbes. Nora also leads a popular educational series titled Women Wine & Wall Street. Finally, she is MIT Sloan trained, having been immersed with some of the brightest minds in the world of finance.
