February 2, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST
Session closed to STRESS-RESILIENCY PROGRAM selected participants only.
This Stress Resiliency Program aims to address the increasing pressures of work and life
balance that can be caused by a wide range of factors (professional and personal lifestyle
changes due to COVID-19, increased work responsibilities, racial disparities within our society, uncertainty and anxiety related to postgraduate applications, and other external difficulties.
- This program is designed to help participants regain control and build resilience through
a variety of mind body principles and self-care interventions, leading to reduced medical
symptoms and enhanced quality of life both personally and professionally. - The program teaches self-care practices that help buffer daily stress, making
participants less emotionally and physically vulnerable to it. - Small-class size of the program allows participants to work closely with the facilitator in finding practices that closely align to their needs.
- This program was previously deployed to and studied among clinicians and trainees, and
has exhibited to be immensely beneficial.
Facilitated by Darshan Mehta, MD, MPH, Director of the Office for Well-Being.
