Virtual Water Cooler: Demystifying Innovation Session 3
January 20, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST
Sponsored by the Center for Faculty Development’s Office for Clinical Careers, the Magic Wand Initiative, and the MGH Springboard Studio
The “Virtual Water Cooler Series: Demystifying Innovation” is a new series to create a collaborative space for clinical faculty looking to bridge into innovation.
Stuart Paap talks about how to be more persuasive. Whether you are speaking to a patient about a new behavior, sharing a new idea with colleagues, speaking with external partners, or in your personal life, effective communication is not just about winning over the room; it’s about getting buy-in beyond the conversation.
Speaker: Stuart Paap, Founder + CEO, Pitch DNA. With a focus on science and technology companies, Stuart helps entrepreneurs and executives perfect their pitches and presentations. In addition to working with corporate clients (Vertex, Microsoft, EMD Serono, Takeda), and helping startups raise tens of millions of dollars, Stuart also leads workshops for universities and technology incubators, including the Harvard iLab, the MIT Enterprise Forum, Masschallenge, the Capital Network, McGill’s X-1 Accelerator and more. In 2018 Stuart was featured in the Boston Globe. Paap graduated from McGill University with a degree in Medical Anthropology and Economics. Twitter @stuartpitch
