Description:
MyCap, a new feature now available in REDCap, is a customizable participant-facing mobile application (app) that captures patient-reported outcomes based on a REDCap project. MyCap collects data through surveys and the automated administration of active tasks (activities performed by participants using mobile device sensors under semi-controlled conditions) from any mobile device (iOS or Android).
Learning Objectives:
MyCap Overview
Explain what the MyCap Mobile App can provide participants and researchers, identify likely research projects that would benefit from MyCap, and review the process for requesting access to the tool.
MyCap Build Process
A demonstration on how to setup a MyCap enabled project will be included. Activation of surveys/tasks/active tasks will be provided.
Future MyCap Improvements
A discussion of upcoming features available for MyCap enabled projects will be shown.
