Advocates in Action Training

8 weekly (Tuesdays 12-1pm) workshops on how to be better advocates for women faculty.
The goal of this initiative is to encourage greater support and collaboration across genders and a commitment on the part of our colleagues to become full-fledged advocates—advocates who work persistently to improve and enhance their advocacy work and sponsorship as well as to push for systematic changes in the workplace culture to nurture more women leaders.
Background:
The CFD launched, in collaboration with experts, an initiative called Advocates in Action to develop an active, united force for gender equity at MGH. This is one of many OWC initiatives to support and promote women.
We welcome participation from faculty of all genders. We especially welcome men, who tend to be underrepresented in these trainings.
