Fun Fridays offer a refreshing mid-day break from work to indulge in physical, mental, or creative activity.
Participants joined Olga for a fun hour of journaling activities designed to free your creative spirit and improve your self-care through writing. Starting with the often-asked question “Where are you from?” they explored their origins not in terms of geography but of memories. Far too often we are reducing ourselves to a simple “I am from {map location}”. In this session, participants assembled a portrait of their current selves from the scenes of their childhood experiences.
Instructor: Olga Katsovskiy, MHA, is a Program Manager in the Endocrine Unit at MGH. In addition, she is a writer, editor for literary magazines, and an Instructor at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education. She enjoys obscure books, foreign language films, and good coffee.
