The Harvard Next Gen Spotlight Series presents the November spotlight with Efren Flores, MD and Nancy Hill, PhD
Efren J. Flores, MD, MGB Radiology Associate Chair Equity, Inclusion & Community Health, MGH, will talk about his academic and career routes, leadership experiences, and “learning moments” that helped him succeed.
Nancy E. Hill, PhD, Graduate Commons Faculty Director and Charles Bigelow Professor of Education, will moderate this session.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15th in 10 Akron Street, Common Room. 6:30 p.m. there will be a reception with food and beverages, followed by the fireside discussion at 7 p.m.

Next Gen Mission
The Next Gen Initiative utilizes technology to align, consolidate, and enhance institutional support and community-building pathways for all Harvard undergraduate and graduate students who are the first in their families to pursue a degree in the U. S and/or are from under-resourced or underserved backgrounds.
While there is no universal Next Gen student experience across Harvard, there are shared challenges, needs, and areas of opportunity that can be addressed through the innovative retooling of existing Harvard University resources and services.
