It’s Never Too Early to Plan for Retirement: Financial Advice for Early-career Faculty

Are you saving each month but aren’t sure you are on track? A lot of retirement planning resources are geared towards individuals who are 5-10 years away from retirement. What about when you’re early career? We will dig into a series of retirement benchmarks, and run a few simulations based on YOUR numbers to help you understand how much you need to save. You will leave the session with a better idea of if you’re on track, ahead, or if you might need to make some changes to reach your goals.

Speaker:
Eryn Schultz, MBA, is the founder of Her Personal Finance. She teaches a 10-week money bootcamp that is tailored to MGB faculty.  If you want to go deeper on student loan strategies and other money moves to take charge of your finances, the next cohort of her money bootcamp is starting in January.

The upcoming 10-week Financial Planning Course begins on Wednesday, January 17, 2023 from 5-6pm. Find more details and apply here.
