MGPA Transition to Independence: From Postdoc to PI

The MGPA’s Careers in Academia subcommittee hosted an interactive panel discussion on the transition to independence. They had four excellent speakers from MGH and the Boston area, including Caroline Sokol (MGH), Rachel Flynn (BU), Dou Zhixun (MGH), and Amit Choudhary (Broad institute). This event helped provide insight into skills and steps necessary to make the jump from postdoc to PI and successfully complete the transition to independence.
