Jan Shifren, MD is a gynecologist, reproductive endocrinologist, and director of the Mass General Midlife Women’s Health Center. Dr. Shifren’s research focuses on menopause, including the effects of estrogens, androgens, and alternative therapies on menopausal symptoms, mood, and sexual function. She has authored many articles and book chapters, and has delivered national and international presentations on menopause, hormone therapy, androgens for women, the genitourinary syndrome of menopause, and female sexual function. She is past president of the North American Menopause Society.
Jannine Versi, MBA is the co-founder and COO of Elektra Health, a digital health company on a mission to smash the menopause taboo. Elektra empowers women navigating menopause with evidence-based virtual care, education & peer support. Jannine has spent her career in healthcare, tech, and government, including roles at Cityblock Health and Google, and in the Obama Administration and White House. She’s an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Business School, and was a Fulbright Scholar.
