Through the review of specific example studies, gain an understanding of:
- Review the application of genomic information to the diagnosis and management of central nervous system tumors
- Review the biological basis of degenerative spine disease
- Participate in a forum for the exchange of ideas and methodologies in the neurosurgery
Presenter:
Ganesh Shankar, MD, PhD is a board-certified spine neurosurgeon at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Mass General and a fellowship in complex spine surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. His research focuses on the development of rapid identification of tumor markers and understanding the biological basis of degenerative spine disease.
