New Approaches to Brain Mapping

Objectives:
Through the review of specific example studies, gain an understanding of:

  • Understand the relevant spatial and temporal scales for mapping brain activity and structure.
  • Describe different methods to measure both functional and structural “connectomes” in the human brain.
  • Describe tools and methods to integrate neurochemical and functional information for quantifying receptor function.
  • Understand what new tools will be available for investigators to probe normal and disease states here at MGH.

Presenter: Bruce Rosen, MD, PhD, is Director of the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Laurence Lamson Robbins Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School.
