2023-24 Brigham Department of Surgery Office of Professional Development (OPD) is hosting a Professional Fulfillment Lecture:
“Ordinary to Extraordinary: Managing Adversity, Building Prosperity”
Speaker:
Gary Josephson, MD, MBA, CPE, FACS, FAAP, Vice President & Chief Medical Officer, Nemours Children’s Health-Jacksonville; Professor, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine; and Professor, University of South Florida, College of Medicine. Dr. Josephson is a physician, researcher, educator and author. His recently released self-help book, “Ordinary to Extraordinary: Seven Principles for Life Success,” was a top 5 title sales by publication date as noted by Morgan James Publishing. He is the chief medical officer and vice president at Nemours Children’s Health-Jacksonville. He is a professor at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Josephson has been named in “Jacksonville’s Best Surgeons in the City” and listed in “Castle Connelly” and “Best Doctors in America.” He was the medical correspondent for a local newspaper in New York City. His column included health and wellness tips to improve well-being.
This lecture is open to everyone faculty, staff, residents, fellows, medical students and administrative personnel./p>
