Own Your Career: A 5-part Workshop Series for mid-career faculty

Mid-career is often the most challenging period for faculty in academic medicine. Your sense of professional and personal fulfillment can get stifled in the frantic pace of work. This workshop series is designed to convene a cohort of faculty longitudinally to reflect with intention on what your goals are, whether your time is being used in the right way to achieve those goals, and realistically identify the support you need to advocate for and achieve your goals. The thought-provoking and interactive nature of this 5-session workshop aims to help faculty reconnect to a sense of continuous fulfillment in your work.

Each workshop will be one hour in length with 30 minutes afterward for group discussion if enough participants are able to stay. Please indicate your availability for the full 90 minutes on your application. Sessions 1, 2 & 4 will be in person in Yawkey or Bulfinch. Sessions 3 & 5 will be hybrid (presenters via Zoom); participants can choose to be in person in Yawkey or Bulfinch or on Zoom.

Sessions will take place every Thursday at 12:00-1:30 pm or 8:00-9:30 am EST from April 4 to May 9, 2024 (skipping April 18).
