Empowering Voices: Strategies for Involving Individuals with Disabilities in Research

The presentation of 4 subject matter experts (Zary Amirhosseini, Jeanhee Chung, Willyanne DeCormier Plosky, and Martha Jones) will speak on the current state of disability representation in research, the importance and potential impact of improving disability representation, explanation of the legal and ethical framework for inclusion (ADA, Section 504/Rehabilitation Act) and actionable steps for enhancing the inclusion of persons with disabilities in research.
